PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roman shade with which privacy is secured and various operation is possible. SOLUTION: The upper end of a first cloth 16 is fitted to a head rail 12, and the upper end of a second cloth 18 is fitted to the lower end of the first cloth 16. At the lower end part of the second cloth 18, one end part of a vertically moving cord 20 suspended vertically movably from the head rail 12 is fitted. At the connection part of the first cloth 16 and the second cloth 18, one end part of a cord 32 for opening and closing suspended vertically movably from the head rail is fitted. When one end part of the cord 32 is upwardly operated, the first cloth 16 is folded and the second cloth 18 is exposed. When one end part of the cord 32 is downwardly operated, the second cloth 18 is folded and the first cloth 16 is exposed.
