A DOC(Daily Opening Ceremony) service method in a mobile communication network and a device therefor are provided to supply pleasant music or effect sound, or opening words such as main announcements to a mobile communication terminal when the terminal is powered on or a flip of the terminal is firstly open, thus a user can cheerfully start the user's day. Information on the first access time for use is collected from a lot of mobile communication terminals(201). If the information on the first access time of use is provided from a random terminal, a DOC service is activated by recognizing the information as the first operation of the random terminal(202-204). Contents of the DOC service pre-stored in a DOC DB are read by responding to the activation of the DOC service(205). The read contents of the DOC service are serviced to the random terminal(206).
