A receive sensitivity alarming device of a mobile communication terminal using an antenna touch sensor and a method thereof are provided to enable a user to recognize that hand effect caused by the user's carelessness deteriorates receive sensitivity, as an alarm or a message, by comprising a touch sensor on an antenna of the terminal, thereby improving speech quality. A sensor(11) senses an external input signal from an antenna surface. An RF(Radio Frequency) communication unit(20) reflects a degree of an RSSI(Received Signal Strength Indicator) being changed by the external input signal. A controller(30) measures and monitors the RSSI. In case that the monitored RSSI is lower than a defined RSSI, an output unit displays an alarm to a user.
