A custody case for an iron is provided to minimize space for ironing by installing the cover under the custody box, and to prohibit the water leakage by supporting the steam iron obliquely. A custody case for an iron is composed of: a custody box(1) for supporting the iron; and a pair of covers(11) for opening and closing the box. The box has an inclined support sill(3) for supporting the iron obliquely to prevent the water from being leaked. The pair of covers is rotated to the lower part of the box so as to contact the opposed side, and vertically placed to support the box. The box has a stopper(8), which is placed to push the upper end of the covers and to prevent the cover from being opened, a thread custody groove(4), a button custody groove(5), and a needle custody groove(6) placed to secure a thread, a button, and a needle at one side of the box.
