A communication system, a method thereof and a communication apparatus and a method thereof are provided to simply transmit music data from a music server to a portable audio player. A server body(51) includes a controller to execute a predetermined program and to control various manipulations. A user mounts a CD(Compact Disc)(55) to the server body through a CD insertion unit(54). The reproduction signal reproduced from the CD is outputted through speaker members(52L,52R). When the CD includes character data such as a music title, the character data are displayed on a display unit(53). A music server(50) includes a recording medium with enormous volume such as a hard disc. |
