<p>An air conditioner is provided to facilitate coolant heating in heating a room by adjusting a coolant desired temperature according to outer air temperature or inner room temperature and regulating an electromotive three-way valve to increase the amount of coolant flowed in a second path having a coolant-heating heat exchanger. An air conditioner(10) comprises an engine(30) driving a compressor in a coolant circuit(13,20); a cooling water circuit(40) circulating cooling water to the engine; and a coolant-heating heat exchanger(46) exchanging heat between the cooling water in the cooling water circuit and coolant in the coolant circuit. The cooling water circuit has a first path(alpha) recovering cooling water to the engine; a second path(beta) branched from the first path to supply cooling water to the coolant-heating heat exchanger; and an electromotive three-way valve(41) dividing cooling water into the first path and the second path. A desired temperature of cooling water is changed according to outer air temperature or inner room temperature in heating a room. The electromotive three-way valve is regulated to increase the amount of cooling water flowed in the second path when the desired temperature is higher than the measured temperature of the cooling water.</p> |
