<p>Provided is a protective bag which is easy to handle, can be expanded within a few minutes by any person, and has a bulletproof performance to catch a bullet or the like shot therein. The protective bag is characterized in that a highly water-absorbable polymer is placed in the bag, and a moisture component is supplied to the polymer in the bag to cause the swelling of the polymer, so that the bag can catch a bullet or the like shot therein. In the bag, a small bag (11) is formed with a water-soluble paper, a given amount of a highly water-absorbable polymer is packed to the small bag (11), a body (15) of the protective bag having a size corresponding to the given amount of the highly water absorbable polymer is provided, a multiple number of water inlet pores (20) for supplying the moisture component to the highly water-absorbable polymer are formed throughout the body (15), and the small bag (11) having the highly water absorbable polymer packed therein is arranged in the body.</p> |
