The connecting plate has a plate-formed base element (1) consisting of a back sheet (1a), core (1b) and front sheet (1c), and is preferably an aluminum connecting plate with a honeycomb core. It has a ballistic fabric (2) laminated onto one of its side surfaces. This fabric may be produced from aramid fiber, glass fiber or other similar fiber material.
