Electronic circuit arrangement has a second timing pulse generator (8), which is operated at intervals for short activation phases. During the short activation phases, the frequency, the periodic times or amplitude derivable from it are detected as a time measure of the first timing pulse generator (2) on the basis of the reference time measure derived from the second timing pulse generator. With the deviation of the detected time measure from a desired value, the time accumulated by means of the time measuring means (4) is corrected as a function of the measure of the deviation. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) Consumption measuring apparatus; (B) Consumption recording system; and (C) Method for time recording.
