A demodulation circuit and a demodulation method are provided to obtain simple demodulation data from an I-CH modulation signal and a Q-CH modulation signal, by using a few bits with one bit without obtaining constellation position. An I channel modulation signal of plural bits and a Q channel modulation signal of plural bits generated from transmission data are inputted, and values of the I channel and the Q channel are calculated in advance when the same transmission data continues after 1 symbol. Then, a demodulation circuit(10) performs demodulation by comparing the calculated value with the I channel modulation signal of plural bits and the Q channel modulation signal of plural bits.
