<p>A preclinical animal model and method of using same to evaluate the effects of various substances (or quantities of substances), such as antidepressants, on sexual function in humans and other mammals is disclosed. Also disclosed are compositions comprising the substances evaluated by the present invention and method for using same to treat and/or prevent sexual dysfunction (or improve sexual function), as well as an apparatus used in the preclinical evaluation of the effects of substances on sexual function in humans and other mammals.</p>
