Composition (A) comprises finely milled solid materials (I) containing at least one carbon dioxide donor substance that exhibits a particle size of less than the size of the respiratory openings present in the leaf (stomata). ACTIVITY : Fertilizer; Insecticide; Fungicide. The ability of (A) to prevent fruit and leaf decay was tested in tomato plants. The results showed that (A) effectively prevented the fruit and leaf decay. MECHANISM OF ACTION : None given.
