<p>The invention relates to a device for determining the particle size distribution of powders, comprising a feed element, a release element, a weighing element, a continuous vibration element, a sieving element and, optionally, a control element. The invention is characterised in that the sieving element comprises an element which rotates around a horizontal axis and which has at least three positions corresponding to two different mesh sieves and an area for releasing the coarsest particles (i.e. particles that have not passed through the largest mesh sieve). The invention also relates to the use of one such device for determining the particle size distribution of powders and, in particular, for the in-line determination thereof, i.e. during the production process.</p> |
