发明名称 PADDING AND PUNCTURING METHOD FOR LDPC CHANNEL CODE
摘要 A method for padding and puncturing a low density parity check(LDPC) code is provided to improve performance and to reduce encoding delay time by simplifying calculation for obtaining flexibility of frame size. A low density parity check(LDPC) code is decoded by a base matrix. The base matrix is expressed as a factor graph comprising a check node and a variable node connected through edges, and includes single weight-3 column and dual-diagonal matrixes. Variable nodes to be punctured in priority including a variable node of an LDPC code corresponding to the weight-3 column are obtained according to a simple calculation rule, and then the puncturing of the LDPC code corresponding to the variable node is performed according to the priority of the variable nodes to be punctured in priority obtained according to the calculation rule.
