APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR RFID TAG DATA PROCESSING AND EVENT MANAGEMENT BASED ON MOBILE INTERNET PLATFORM

A device and a method for processing information of an electronic tag based on a wireless Internet platform are provided to process RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification) tag information in the wireless Internet platform by installing an RFID reader to a mobile terminal and develop a mobile terminal RFID application program by utilizing the RFID tag information. The RFID reader(110) recognizes code information recorded in the RFID tag. The wireless Internet platform(120) operates/controls terminal hardware including the RFID reader and refines the RFID information collected by the RFID reader. A terminal RFID application program(130) provides an application service to a terminal user by utilizing the RFID tag information. The wireless Internet platform includes basic terminal software(121) for controlling the terminal hardware including the RFID reader, a terminal software abstracting layer(122), an application API(Application Program Interface) layer(124), and a wireless Internet platform engine(123) performing/controlling a command of the RFID reader based on a function provided from the terminal software abstracting layer, and collecting and refining the RFID tag information received from the RFID reader.
