CHARACTER CODE INPUT SUPPORT SYSTEM AND CHARACTER CODE INPUT SUPPORT PROGRAM

It is possible to input a character (custom character) defined in a limited character code system(s) among a plurality of existing character code systems in other character code system. A character code input support system includes: a step of searching an undefined character code DB to identify a character code having used/unused information indicating the unused state among character codes correlated with character code system identification information excluding inputted character code system identification information; a step of reading the identified character code and character code system identification information correlated with the character code from the undefined character code DB; a step of modifying the content of the character code used/unused information correlated with the character code which has been read out, to the used state and storing it in the undefined character code DB; and a step of storing the inputted character code system identification information and the character code correlated together with the read-out character code system identification information and the character code in a text DB while correlating them with arbitrary character management information.
