The character incidence management data generation unit (212) generates character incidence management data (230) from the content (210). The compression/encryption unit (213) compresses the content (210) and encrypts the character incidence management data (230). The search initialization unit (221) decrypts the encrypted character incidence management data (260). The whole search unit (222) receives a search keyword and searches the entire compressed content (250) by using the character incidence management data (230) and the headline data (300). The search result display unit (223) decompresses the search candidate selected from search candidates and displays it as a search result.
