A transflective type LCD, a display substrate therefor, and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to reduce the color difference between a reflective area and a transmissive area, by forming a plurality of convex lens-shaped protrusions in the reflective area. A transflective type LCD has a transmissive area and a reflective area. A plurality of protrusions(241) are formed on a substrate(210) in a convex lens shape, and disposed in the reflective area. Color filters(230) are formed on the protrusions and the substrate. The protrusions contain a transparent organic material. The protrusions have diameters of 10 to 15 micrometers. The protrusions have heights of 1 to 2 micrometers. The protrusions have the same size.
