Synthetic mineral material contains carbonate having characteristic carbon nuclear transformation rate for carbon-14 in to carbon-12 of 450 transformations per hour and gram, preferably 850-890 transformations per hour and gram. An independent claim is included for the preparation of the synthetic mineral material.
