The invention relates to a spinning system which is used to melt spin a plurality of threads with a plurality of spinning nozzles. Said spinning nozzles are arranged in two closely adjoining rows in a parallel manner along the longitudinal side of the machine. A cooling device is arranged below the row of nozzles, said cooling device being used to cool the threads which are extruded from the spinning nozzles. The threads are rolled up on coils by means of a winding machine arranged below the cooling device. The aim of the invention is to produce an arrangement which is as user-friendly as possible. According to the invention, the plurality of spinning nozzles of both rows of spinning nozzles are divided up into several longitudinal modules along the longitudinal side of the machine, said modules being separated from each other by a passage. Only short distances need to be bridged over when the spinning nozzles on both sides of the longitudinal sides of the machine are used.
