SLEEP DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM

A sleep diagnostic system (1) comprising three-dimensional acceleration sensors (2a, 2b), a section (5) for detecting the posture (sleeping posture) of a patient from the DC component of the three-dimensional acceleration sensor, and a section (4) for detecting respiration motion of the patient from the AC component of the three-dimensional acceleration sensor. The sleep diagnostic system (1) can detect the posture (sleeping posture) and respiration motion of the patient by means of one three-dimensional acceleration sensor and the number of sensors can be decreased. Furthermore, respiration motion can be detected with high precision by the three-dimensional acceleration sensor.
