Four small diameter locking means (54) are provided in a circumference direction at substantially equal angles at an opening edge of a substantially bottomed cylindrical small diameter placing section (51b), which has a small diameter bottom plane (51b1) whereupon an optical disc (300) of a disc tray (50) can be placed. The small diameter locking means (54) is composed of a locking section, which movably abuts to an outer circumference edge of the optical disc (300) in a direction along a substantially radial direction from a center axis of the small diameter placing section (51b), and an urging means, which permits an urging force which moves the locking section in a direction toward the contents of the small diameter placing section (51b) to operate as a restoring force caused by elastic deformation. The optical disc (300) is sandwiched from the circumference direction to be surely held with the center at a position substantially on the center axis of the small diameter placing section (51b) and the optical disc (300) can be stably carried by the simple constitution.
