ELASTIC CATERPILLAR MANUFACTURING METHOD AND VULCANIZING FORMING APPARATUS USING THE SAME

A fabrication method of elastic caterpillar useful for vulcanization molding apparatus is provided to produce the caterpillar such as elastic crawler to be strictly vulcanization adhered to any crawler type of driving devices by integrating one end and the other end of single or multiple band type of rubber elements of the caterpillar through vulcanizing adhesion. The method comprises the steps of: vulcanization molding band type of rubber element(7) in a band length direction by a mold partitioned into a heating zone(H) and a cooling zone(C); attaching unvulcanized or semi-vulcanized face of the rubber element at one end to the other end of the same or different rubber element to be unvulcanized or semi-vulcanized to result in a product formed of single or multiple rubber elements having the one end integrated with the other end; and vulcanization adhering the adhesion face(14) to the other end of the rubber element while locating the adhesion face and a barrier(B) as outer face(2A) of the product apart from the heating zone but within the cooling zone.
