A tail end structure of a ship is provided to enable a ship to sail at a high speed by minimizing the pressure of an engine screw and resistance of the surface of the water. A tail end structure of a ship includes a key part(10), and a trough(4,5). A tail end part has an inclination angle(11) from the key part of the ship to a two third position backward. A horizontal line is formed from a two third point to a tail end(2) of the ship body(1). The trough of a mountain shape is a symmetrical on both sides centered on the horizontal line(3). The tail end of the ship body is located at a higher position than a central line of a center position of the ship body so that an engine for the ship is installed at a higher position than the center line of the ship body.
