An assembly structure of a backplate for a chair is provided to assemble promptly and conveniently elements having complicated functions by coupling a backplate with a rotation compressing roll by use of a semi-circular or circular coupling tool. In the assembly structure of a backplate for a chair, a chair includes a backplate portion(100), a seat portion and a support and a backplate portion(100) includes a U shape outer iron frame portion(110), a backplate board(120), a cushion body(130), and a rotation compressing roll(140). The U shape outer iron frame portion(110) is coupled to the rear of the seat portion. The backplate board(120) is disposed and coupled to the inner side of the opening portion of the U shape outer iron frame portion(110). The rotation compressing roll(140) is rotatively disposed and coupled to the inner lower part of the U shape outer iron frame portion(110).
