<p>The vehicle exhaust unit has a connecting device between two adjacent components formed by a double-flanged connection and a fixing element (4) which can be positioned rotationally secured by a positioning element (8) around the edges of the flange connection. The fixing element is formed by a ring clip (5) divided into a hinged area (6) and an opening area (7). The hinged area is reinforced at the bottom and the opening area is weakened so that in the event of crash the bottom of the opening area tears and the two edges of the opening area open out opposite the hinge.</p> |
