Insulation stripping starts with forming rated break point in one side of strip cable (1) along frame (14), which is interrupted at several locations, thus forming remaining strap (140) in insulation layer. Punch (2) deforms strip cable, applying tensile force to strap(2) so that insulation layer, within frame, is pulled-off from conductor. Independent claims are included for strip cable and its insulation stripping equipment.
