<p>A method for controlling a power train in a vehicle, especially with automatic transmission, has a number of programmes for gearchange, one of which is selected by the system in response to measured parameters. The selected programme is compared with the driver commands and reactions, to verify that the programme is the optimum, or to reject the programme in cases on non compliance. The control strategy can be applied to other power trains and control systems.</p> |
