<p>A laboratory pipette (1) has a housing (2) with a distal socket (4) for a detachable discharge tip (6). The tip has a piston (12) discharge socket (11) to the tip. The pipette further has fixtures (19, 28) to attach and detach an anchorage (5) with the discharge piston in the apertures (11, 14). The pipette further has a piston driver (15) moving a fluid holder (10) within the pipette housing. The anchorage (15) and discharge piston (12) displace their sockets (4, 11) through axial apertures (7, 13) to their anchored positions. The pipette is operated by a plunger (46) with a lever (33) and linkage (35) and operates against the effect of a spring (42). The pipette is operated either manually or by an electric motor.</p> |
