<p>An apparatus for searching and connecting a Bluetooth device and a method therefor are provided to reduce the number of Bluetooth devices that a user confirms while searching a Bluetooth device, thus the user can more easily find out a desired Bluetooth device. A Bluetooth module(316) searches Bluetooth devices located within a distance enabling Bluetooth communication, and receives each piece of address information from the searched Bluetooth devices and information about services provided by the Bluetooth devices. A storage result decider(318) compares the received address information with pre-stored address information to decide whether the received address information is the same as the pre-stored address information. A controller(300) displays service information and address information of a Bluetooth device corresponding to address information which is not identical with the pre-stored address information. A memory(302) stores address information of a Bluetooth device connected by a user's selection, among the displayed Bluetooth devices.</p> |
