Vehicle power grid with high power load

To supply electricity from an alternator (G) with a voltage regulator (R) to a high load power consumption device (V), a semiconductor switch (H), using MOSFETs, connects the power consumption device to a capacitor (DLC), while the switch blocks electricity supply from e.g. a battery (B). A processor (EEM) for electricity management controls the capacitor. An independent claim is also included for a method of operating an electrical system.
