<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-based ink for ink jet writing, particularly having a good initial introduction property of ink to ink passage of a lamination type printer head among printer heads loaded on a piezoelectric ink jet printer and free from occurrence of feathering and spreading deficiency of ink even when written to plain papers. <P>SOLUTION: The water-based ink for ink jet is used for ink jet printer and comprises at least a dispersing coloring agent, propylene glycol ether and a surfactant composed of a random copolymer represented by general formula (1) (wherein R is a 3-5C alkyl group; m is an integer of 45-55; n is an integer of 45-55). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
