MENU WALL PAPER DISPLAY METHOD IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL

A method for displaying a menu background screen in a mobile communication terminal is provided to offer a user the zoomed menu background screen by making the menu background screen zoomed in/out, thereby enabling the user to have fun when the user uses the mobile communication terminal and providing a background screen with dynamic menu. A method for displaying a menu background screen in a mobile communication terminal comprises the following steps of: displaying an image as the menu background screen corresponding to a tile area among images corresponding to an arbitrary background layer if a menu selection mode is set up(201); displaying an image as the menu background screen corresponding to the arbitrary tile area of an image having a zoom scale of a next step of the displayed menu background image by changing a background layer if background zoom-in key input is sensed(205~209); displaying an image as the menu background screen corresponding to the arbitrary tile area of an image having a zoom scale of a previous step of the currently displayed menu background image by changing the background layer if background zoom-out key input is sensed(205~209).
