<p>A method and an apparatus for demapping and correcting a channel for a coherent demodulation in an OFDM system are provided to reduce a congestion of hardware by removing a division calculation by a ZF equalizer in a receiver of an OFDM system. A method for demapping and correcting a channel for a coherent demodulation in an OFDM system includes the steps of: outputting a channel corrected signal by multiplying an estimated channel impulse response with a high Fourier transformed receiving signal(502); calculating power of the channel impulse response(506); setting power of the channel impulse response to a reference point, and determining a soft metric value which represents the channel corrected signal based on the same phase element(X), an orthogonal phase element(Y), and the reference point(a)(510).</p> |
