A method for providing a DMB service through interworking between a mobile terminal and a DMB dongle is provided to reduce processing load, caused by data storing, by storing data corresponding to H.264 data type received during a recording process and convert broadcasting data into a type, reproducible in the mobile terminal, when a user wants recorded broadcasting so that the user can watch the broadcasting with the best image quality since there is no loss caused by time delay. A method for providing a DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) service through interworking between a mobile terminal and a DMB dongle comprises the following steps of: executing software for the interworking with the DMB dongle in the mobile terminal; enabling the mobile terminal to receive necessary data from the DMB dongle after the software is executed; enabling the DMB dongle to convert broadcasting data, received through an antenna, into a data type, which can be reproduced in the mobile terminal, if the data reception of the mobile terminal is completed, and transmitting the converted broadcasting data to the mobile terminal(450,455); and reproducing the broadcasting data in the mobile terminal by corresponding to the transmission(460).
