MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL FOR PROVIDING DIGITAL MULTIMEDIA BROADCASTING AND MOBILE PHONE FUNCTION CONCURRENTLY AND METHOD THEREOF

A mobile communication terminal for simultaneously providing both of digital multimedia broadcasting and a portable phone function and a method thereof are provided to simultaneously supply a digital multimedia broadcasting screen and a screen for a portable phone function so that a user can use the portable phone functions such as message or call functions as watching the digital multimedia broadcasting. A mobile communication terminal comprises the followings: a key input unit(500); a voice output unit(300); a display(400); and a controller(200). If there is one of call signal reception, message reception and key input for converting a mode from a digital multimedia broadcasting mode to a portable phone function mode, the display(400) displays a screen for the portable phone function on a digital multimedia broadcasting screen. When the display(400) simultaneously displays the digital multimedia broadcasting screen and the screen for the portable phone function, the controller(200) considers the key input, inputted through the key input unit(500), as key input for the portable phone function and outputs a voice signal for a call through the voice output unit(300) when receiving key input for the call.
