A tapping tee (20) for a plastics pipeline comprises a saddle (21) adapted to be mounted on the plastics pipeline, a hollow body (22) integral with the saddle and provided with an axial bore; a cutter disposed within the bore of the hollow body and adapted in use to traverse the bore, to contact the pipeline wall and to cut a hole therein, and a spigot (23) integral with the body and in fluid connection with the axial bore of the body, the spigot being provided with an extended flexible section (26) and having a multi-reducer (27) at its distal end adapted to receive a tubular electrofusion element therein or thereon. |
