Device and method for monitoring and control a pluratilty of series connected capacitors

The method involves determining a voltage of each capacitor during charging and discharging of capacitors. The capacitors are bridged up to the end of discharging in case of dropping of the voltage of one of the capacitors below a threshold voltage by using a switch. The capacitors are parallely switched with a highest voltage in case of dropping of the voltage of one of the capacitors below another threshold voltage. An independent claim is also included for a device with a set of serially connected capacitors.
