A mobile communication terminal for managing a phone number list for a video call and a method thereof are provided to store a phone number together with information about whether a video call is possible so that a user can call in a desired type without worrying whether to make a voice call or the video call. In a method for managing a phone number list in a mobile communication terminal having a video call function, the method comprises the following steps of: receiving information about whether the video call of the mobile communication terminal for a phone number is possible or not when a phone number is stored in the phone number list; displaying the stored phone number together with the information, about whether the inputted video call is possible or not, on the phone number list; and displaying whether the video call for the phone number is possible or not according to information, about whether the video call is possible or not, stored in the phone number list.
