PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable decoding processing with a receiving device having large processing capability in decoding processing of a MPEG-AUDIO coding system in the case of applying to a broadcasting type system. SOLUTION: This system distributes MPEG coding data from a distributing device to plural receiving devices 41 -4N, in respective local area through one or plural LAN server 3 with a broadcasting form. In this case, the LAN server 3 is provided with a setting means 11 which can set a value indicating processing capability of a receiving device in the local area, and a detecting means 12 which can detect this setting value, when MPEG coding data is distributed from the distributing device 1, this setting value is detected, one part of MPEG-AUDIO decoding processing is processed in the LAN server 3 with a section decided in accordance with the setting value. Thus, a processing load of the receiving device is reduced by performing MPEG-AUDIO decoding processing taking partial charge of processing by the LAN sever 3 and the receiving device 4. |
