An audio reproducing apparatus for reproducing audio signals of two or more channels including at least a left-channel audio signal and a right-channel audio signal, including: a mixing section (24), first to fourth delay sections (30) for delaying an audio signal by a predetermined time, for supply to front left, front right, rear left, rear right speakers (11); wherein a center speaker (11FC) is disposed frontward of the front left speaker (11FL) and the front right speaker (11FR); the front left speaker (11FL) and the front right speaker (11FR) are disposed approximately symmetrical with respect to a centerline (18) passing through the center speaker (11FC), at a first distance from the center speaker (11FC); and the rear left speaker (11RL) and the rear right speaker (11RR) are disposed approximately symmetrical with respect to the centerline (18) at a second distance larger than the first distance, from the center speaker.
