A steering device having a ball-and-nut type gear box is provided to simply work with the device by using a circulator having a ball hole in filling balls and installing a circulator in a rack piston. In a steering device, a ball-and-nut type gear box comprises an input shaft connected with a steering shaft; a worm shaft connected with the input shaft to be rotated together and formed with a semispherical outer groove spiral on the outer peripheral surface; a rack piston(215) receiving the worm shaft and having a semispherical inner groove spiral on the inner surface and a circulator hole(405) from the outer surface to the inner surface; a ball(200) installed at a ball space formed with the inner groove and the outer groove; a circulator(210) formed like a pipe to move the ball from the circulator hole of one side to the circulator hole of the other side and bored of a ball hole(600) to insert the ball through the ball hole; and a holder(205) fixing the circulator with the rack piston.
