A mobile communication terminal and an image quality control method thereof are provided to selectively control the image quality according to the user's taste. A control member of a mobile communication terminal performs a camera operation mode according to the camera execution menu selected by a user(S101). A control member displays an arbitrary image photographed by a camera member on a screen(S103). The control member receives an image control menu by the user(S105) and discriminates whether a control target is selected by the user(S107). If a control target is selected by the user, the control member reduces the displayed image with a predetermined ratio so that the first and second images are displayed on one screen(S109).
