CASTING ROLL MOVING APPARATUS OF TWIN ROLL TYPE CONTINUOUS STRIP CASTING PROCESS

An equipment for moving casting rolls in twin roll type continuous strip casting process is provided to solve problems including poor side alignment of the casting rolls and instabilities of roll force and roll gap by driving casting rolls using fluid pressure, preventing generation of friction force according to formation of a fluid film, and automatically removing alignment instability even when overload is applied to the casting rolls. An equipment for moving casting rolls(1) in twin roll type continuous strip casting process comprises: bearing housings(11) for supporting shafts(1-1) of the casting rolls; saddles(12) which are connected to lower portion of the bearing housings, and have sliding parts(12-1) vertically projected from the lower surface thereof; mill frames(13) in which space parts(16) are formed such that the sliding parts of the saddles are movably inserted into the space parts; and fluid pressure supply means for supplying a fluid to both sides and the bottom of the mill frames and the space parts.
