A transmitting device for a mobile communication terminal having a temperature compensation function and a control method therefor are provided to detect a temperature of the last output terminal and to compensate the temperature of transmission output by using the detected temperature by composing a temperature sensor in a transmitting unit of the mobile communication terminal. An RF(Radio Frequency) signal processing unit(5) amplifies an RF signal of a mobile communication terminal(1) at a set transmission power level, and transmits the amplified RF signal to the outside through an antenna. A temperature detecting sensor(6), installed in one end of the RF signal processing unit(5), detects a temperature of elements composed in the RF signal processing unit(5). A main control unit(7) compares temperature data detected by the temperature detecting sensor(6) with reference temperature data, and reflects a temperature correction signal according to a temperature deviation to a transmission power level value set up in the RF signal processing unit(5). A D/A(Digital to Analog) converting unit(8) converts the digital transmission power level value outputted from the main control unit(7) into an analog signal, and outputs the converted analog signal to the RF signal processing unit(5).
