A cargo tank for a ship for storing liquefied gas is provided to increase the cargo retrieving rate of the ship by minimizing the residual amount in the cargo tank. A cargo tank for a ship for storing liquefied gas includes a stripping pump(200), a temporary retainer(202), an introduction pipe(204), and a non-return unit(206). The stripping pump is provided to pull up the residual liquefied gas. The temporary retainer is located around the stripping pump and is installed on the bottom of the cargo tank. The introduction pipe introduces the residual oil to the temporary retainer. The non-return unit is mounted to the introduction pipe and allow a fluid to flow only to the inner side of the temporary retainer.
