A frequency mixer having the improved gain ratio is provided to increase an amplitude of the modulation output signal for an amplitude of the wireless communication signal by increasing an amplitude of a response communication signal for an amplitude of the wireless communication signal. A wireless communication response unit(100) differentially responds to a positive element and a negative element of a wireless communication signal, and generates a predetermined response communication signal. A voltage level of the response communication signal is a voltage level according to difference between the positive element and the negative element. The switching unit(200) receives a positive element and a negative element of the response communication signal as a first source terminal and a second source terminal, and generates the modulation output signal by mixing a frequency of the local communication signal with a frequency of the response communication signal. A response unit(110) controls a current quantity which flows between the second response terminal and the second source terminal, and between the first response terminal and the first source terminal in response to the positive and negative elements of the wireless communication signal. A negative conductance unit is formed between a predetermined current source and the first and second response terminals.
