FIELD: agriculture and forestry, in particular, wind erosion preventive sowing of seeds of various plants. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves performing intermittent seed sowing into holes formed in soil exposed to wind erosion; providing staggered arrangement of holes in adjacent rows in soil, alternatively in mutually perpendicular directions; arranging transverse holes in adjacent rows in overlapped relation with respect to one another, said overlap ▵m being determined from formula: ▵m=(0.1-0.3)m, where m is length of holes to be sown with seeds. ^ EFFECT: increased efficiency in preventing wind erosion of ameliorated soil areas. ^ 1 dwg |
