FIELD: working materials by milling, built-up end milling cutters. ^ SUBSTANCE: double-side cutting tip in the form of rhomb is restricted by two end faces and by lateral surface and it has in each end side supporting surface and front surface and also two first cutting edges and two second cutting edges. In each acute angle of rhomb first edge is joined with second edge along angular radius cutting edge. Invention provides enhanced reliability of fastening cutting tip in seat of body of milling cutter due to increased cutting efforts forcing it to lateral supporting surfaces of seat. In order to realize it, on front surface adjacent to second edge at least one protrusion is formed. Apex of said protrusion is arranged on said lateral surface and it is shifted along base of protrusion on second cutting edge relative to its middle towards obtuse angle of rhomb. ^ EFFECT: enhanced reliability of fastening cutting tip. ^ 5 dwg |
