FIELD: meat, fish and poultry processing industry. ^ SUBSTANCE: meat grinding apparatus has immovable cylindrical casing with charging throat, and cylindrical drum coaxially arranged within casing for rotation and defining annular gap therein. Cylindrical drum is equipped with inclined slots extending along generatrix and adapted for accommodation of flat knives therein. Comb-shaped members are positioned on their front face and designed for cutting of meat into chips in direction perpendicular to cutting plane. Disk is positioned within drum and equipped with curved blades symmetrically fixed on disk. Blades are furnished with horizontal disk-shaped cutting members. This unit preliminarily grinds meat before it is fed to cutting knives of knife drum. ^ EFFECT: increased grinding extent and provision for producing of mass homogeneous as to dispersion composition. ^ 4 cl, 2 dwg
